BIRTH

Our short debut film is a full CG production with the goal of creating an unfamiliar, fictional scene. The center of the concept is a machine in the form of a drone, brought to life in an abstract, technical environment. This setting had to look misanthropic and dead, and then again functional and vital. To achieve this certain look a compound of technical and organic shapes were chosen. The supplying of energy and the activation process should create an association of a waiting larvae hatching from its cocoon to fulfill the metamorphosis and gain an elevated state.

BREAKDOWN

The Compositing Shot Breakdown and an overview of the components that were used to create the final images. We already had a pretty defined idea of the final look and light-mood at the beginning of the production process, so that the post-production was more of an image polishing work.
